Schooled by the Master... AGAIN!

Took the Master out fishing this afternoon... and as usual... Third cast he catches a lunker! From there on in he continued to school my ass. Me... what did I catch... clams! Yep, right on the hook... clams! Love you Dad, but you are not allowed in my boat anymore! :)

Striiiiiiiiiiipaaaaaaaah!!!!

Went to the Cape to visit brother Bob... Enough said.

Here is a kudos to the feet pictured here who is responsible for tweeking Fish On!. Is the sinking vessel a subliminal message? I have yet to take the feet on a fishing expedition. Unfortunately for me... she has all the computer power in the world and knows I would not even begin to figure out where and how to change the mauve shades on my page.... UGHH God! Pink! on a fishing blog! Sinner! ;)

Cassie and Nate... Fellow lunker catchers!

Hey everyone... long time no post, I know... and you would think that I would be all over the place with my new fleet of vessels... but work, weather and other life roadblocks have got in the way recently... got plans for fishing this aternoon and tonight... so keep your fingers crossed... and pray Shug does not out fish me again... ;)
In honor of the future Mr and Mrs "Hospital Stretcher" Guerney, (everytime I am at work now I will chuckle to myself about that one), I am posting some pics of their lunkers from this year... and well Nate's lunker of the century.... I WILL get me one of those

Introducing Yugo!

This is my friend Jen's fish. She caught him at a pet store. His name is Yugo. Welcome to Fish On! Yugo...

We don't have any sunblock!?

First let me explain Shug's outfit... for those of you saying to yourself... what the hell??? As you can tell Shug is pretty fair skinned and he burns EAAAASY... if I knew how I would insert his crispiness from last summers first burn.


Well, we don't have any sunscreen and we fished in the strong sun of the afternoon... I had my raincoat with me because, well its going to be a new thing to keep with me at all times now, we got caught in a downpour last night... and well it is still a bit too cold to be out drenched in the rain... Anyway... short story made waaaay too long, Shug put his arms into my raincoat to protect them from the sun and pulled his shirt up over his neck for protection as well... It is this exact ability to adapt that makes me love my Shug so much ;)

As you can see, there are not pictures of me here, the fish I caught, all three of them, were the size of my lure... I was frustrated... ha ha ha.. Shug on the other hand was ON... he got these three really nice fish... and a few others too...
Big thunder and lighting store kept me away from my anticipated kayak fishing expedition tonight. Went to the rents and watched the Yanks spank the Sox instead. It was a good time.

Good news, by the way, I am an Aunt... to a four legged creature, not a two legged one... ;) Bob finally got his puppy that he has been waiting for since the mother got pregnant... it is an English Lab. He will be using her for hunting. Her name is Emma. Will she be able to fish is the question.... ha ha ha
